Description

I decided to replace the (stiff and brittle) original 2 core cable with 3 core for safety. If it causes an earth loop with other equipment I will solve it properly!

I also fitted an in-line plug and socket connector to make it easier to thread the cable through the hole in the rear panel (which is not large enough to take a UK BS1363 13A plug). Here is the new cable wired to the plug half of that connector. At the other end there are tinned wires for the live and neutral to connect to the tagstrip and a solder tag on the earth wire.
