U.S. Marines and Armed Forces of the Philippines airmen assist displaced personnel off of a Philippine Air Force KC-130J Hercules aircraft, Nov. 14 at Villamor Air Base, as part of Operation Damayan. The U.S. and Philippine Armed Forces have transported more than 384,400 pounds of relief supplies and more than 1,735 displaced personnel. The militaries of the two nations have partnered and trained together for decades, which prepare both forces for the challenges associated with extreme circumstances.
