Kommentar: Die Prägestätte des vorliegenden Typs, der vermutlich vor dem Todesjahr des Drusus 23 v. Chr. geschlagen wurde, ist aufgrund des fehlenden Ethnikons ungewiss. Im RPC wird sie in Makedonien vermutet (Philippi?). Das wohl als Semis zu identifierende Nominal gehört zu einer Münzgruppe, die weder klar als provinzial oder kolonial noch als Produkt einer einzigen Prägestätte eingestuft werden kann. Ihr Zirkulationsgebiet umfasste Makedonien, die Troas, Bithynien und Mysien. Die ältere Zuweisung nach Parion wurde insbesondere von Michael Grant vertreten, für eine Rekapitulation der Diskussion vgl. RPC I 309.
