Philenoptera violacea

Afrikaans: Bearing van blaartjies (twee van 5 pare) in saamgestelde blaar van 'n Appelblaar (P. violacea). Gepersde blaar van materiaal versamel te Pafuri, Krugerwildtuin, in September 1996. Die beeld illustreer die bearing aan die ondersy. Vals kleur weergawe van 'n monotoon-fotokopie.
English: Leaflet detail (underside detail, 2 basal leaflets of 5 pairs) of a compound leaf of an Apple leaf (P. violacea). Pressed leaf of material collected at Pafuri in the northern Kruger National Park, September 1996. The image illustrates the venation of the leaflets, as seen from below. A false colour version of a monotone photocopy.
