English: Phelps County Courthouse in Holdrege, Nebraska; seen from the southeast. The building was designed in Beaux-Arts style by architect William F. Gernandt; its cornerstone was laid in 1910. It is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. The original courthouse is the three-story structure in the background and to the left; the two-story structure in the right and foreground is a relatively modern addition. |
