Description
English: The anti-icing potential of solidified Phase Switching Liquid (S-PSL), a class of phase change materials which have melting point higher than the freezing point of water is shown. S-PSL surfaces are ice-free when chilled to −15 °C, while ice builds up on Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and superhydrophobic surfaces.
