| Description |
English: Locally abundant in the mountain big sagebrush steppe of Lamar Valley, Phacelia franklinii is most abundant where disturbance is frequent. This is generally the case. This site at the solar panels of the Lamar Ranger Station is regularly managed with intensive herbicide application. As a consequence, Phacelia franklinii is abundant here along with species of annual mustards, in addition to cheatgrass (Bromus tectorum). Intensive herbicide application in Yellowstone National Park is common and has resulted in the abundance of both native and exotic annual plant species, as exemplified at this site. |
