Description
English:
Saints Peter and Paul parish church Built in Baroque style, around 1786, remodelled in 1922, replaced the former Saint Ladislaus church (built in c. 1429 or before). Its rectory built in 1923 (other source:1926). The churchyard is on a 'hill' couple meters above stree level. There are stairs, a wrought iron lamp post, and a V.J. and M.K. signed crucifix (1924) dedicated to those who fallen in the war(s). On the church facade a black granite plaque dedicated to Ferenc Vöő parish priest. The ceiling "scenes of saints life" fresco made by a local painter, Zoltán Gál. On the side wall paintings,-also Zoltán Gál works,-of the stations of the Cross. Three stained glass windows donated parish priest Pál Keresztes. Inside is a wooden Saint Joseph statue (unknown artist, made in probably before WW2) - Templom Street, Farmos, Pest County, Hungary

Szent Péter és Pál-templom. A fa előtető keresztgerendáján kisméretű feszület. Nyugat felé néző főbejárat, drótból készült két térdepló kezükben mécsest tartő egymással szembenéző angyal. A kűlső templomajtó-rács(?) felirata: "Ime Isten háza az emberek között". A homlokzaton fekete gránit? emléktábla "Vöő Ferenc Imre Plébános úr emlékére 1944-2009" Érdekessség: a templomtorony keresztjéhez,-a kereszt közepét átfúrva,-egy villámhárítót erősítettek. Kerítetlen, fás bokros templomkert néhány méteres dombon, lépcsők, díszlámpa és egy 1924-es, V.J. és M.K. 'szignós' feszület "...a háborúban elesettek emlékére". [1] A második világháborúban három német és négy szovjet katonát a római katolikus templom mellé temettek el, és később innen vittek át a temetőbe. - Pest megye, Farmos, Templom utca, Zrínyi utca mentén
