Description
English:
Stone cross in the garde of the (Clarisseum) Saint Stephen of Hungary parish church. Built to as a part of the 'Clarisseum' Institue. The institute was a branch institute of the Budapest First Children's Shelter Society (Est. 1870) built in 1888, planned by Miklós Ybl. The main building completed in 1884. The parish church built to as a chapel of the institute. In the begins sixty children studied here science of the gardening. In 1903 remodelled to catholic internate and primary school. Clarisseum name got after Assisi Saint Clare in 1903 (or 1914). Under WWI it was military hospital. In 1924, the institute reopened by managemant of the Don Bosco Salesian Order, it was(is still?) a ~vocational school. In 1948 the educational institution was nationalized. The chapel was declared as a parish church. In 1953, the 'foster home'/boarding school/vocational school, now called Kornis Klára Children's Home and Vocational School, was opened, where it provides care and services to girls between the ages of 14 and 24, including addicts requiring special care. In 1974 a sizeable concrate wall built,- as a support wall against landslide,-separate the education institute and the church. The church is open to the public at the time of the services, the foster home is completely closed for visitors - 199 Árpád Street, Istvántelek neighborhood, District IV of Budapest.

Clarisseum Szent István király templom, épült 1888-ban /1884-re volt kész a főépület/ Ybl Miklós tervei szerint, Wahl Hugó építőmester kivitelezésében.
