Description
English: Petty Officer Third Class Juhuk Byun of the Third Republic of Korea Navy directs traffic as sailors from USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) head out on liberty in Busan. Reagan arrived in Busan March 22 for a scheduled port visit in conjunction with Exercise Reception, Staging, Onward movement, and Integration / Foal Eagle 2007 (RSOI/FE 07). RSOI / FE is an annual joint/combined command post exercise / field training exercise. The purpose of the exercise is to demonstrate resolve to support the Republic of Korea (ROK) against external aggression while improving ROK/U.S. combat readiness and joint / combined interoperability. The focus of the exercise is on strategic, operational and tactical aspects of general military operations in the Korean theater of operations.
