Description
English: The number 14 signal (up starting/Melling Branch junction up distant) at Petone Railway Station in Wellington, New Zealand. The red-over-red aspect indicates Stop, protecting the rear of the "Matangi" electric multiple unit in the background. The "A" light at the bottom indicates the Melling Branch is closed and the normally absolute interlocking signal ("stop and stay") is operating as a permissive block signal ("stop and proceed").
