" Mint említettük, Klösz budapesti fényképész másolatot készített Petőfinek egy daguerrotyp képe után, s azokat áruba bocsátotta. Ebből azonban pör támadt. Az eredeti daguerotyp Beliczay Imre orvos tulajdona, aki 1872-ben Országh Antal fényképésznek megengedte, hogy arról egyetlen példány másolatot vegyen, amely most Kerbeny Károly tulajdona. Az eredeti kép aztán nagyon elhomályosodott, s ma már a körvonalak is alig vehetők ki tisztán. Klösz az Országh-féle másolatot használta fel többszörösítésre, dr. Beliczay pedig a fővárosi kapitánysághoz fordult, hogy megakadályozza a képek árulását, minthogy az eredeti az övé lévén, egyedül magát tartja illetékesnek másolatok felöl intézkedni. Megjegyzendő ezébiránt, hogy Klösz másolataiban sok eltérő van az eredetitől. Jókai is hozzá rajzol valamit". Vasárnapi Ujság 1879. augusztus 3-án
