English: Peshmerga soldiers watch as a British instructor demonstrates how to decontaminate their gas mask during a chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear defense class near Erbil, Iraq, March 16, 2016. Peshmerga soldiers attend the 10-week Modern Brigade Course, that which begins with three weeks of basic infantry skills intended to improve their tactical knowledge to aid in the fight against the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL). By enabling Iraqi Security Forces through advise and assist, and building partner capacity missions, the Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve’s multinational Coalition is helping the Government of Iraq to set the conditions to defeat the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.
