Description
Italiano: Pesa a dinamometro composta da una lamina metallica curvata a formare un anello leggermente schiacciato (ellisse) con le due estremità parzialmente sovrapposte ma libere. Nell'estremità che rimane più esterna è incernierata una lancetta metallica che si infila in una fessura ricavata nell'altra estremità, che è adiacente alla prima, della lamina. La punta di questo indicatore può scorrere lungo una scala graduata incisa su una placchetta metallica a forma di falce di luna fissata sulla parete interna opposta. Sulla parete esterna della lamina sono fissati i ganci per la sospensione della pesa e quelli per appendere l'oggetto da misurare. La scala consente misure fra 0 e 200 chilogrammi con precisione di due chili.
Funzione
Lo strumento veniva utilizzato per determinare in modo rapido, anche se non molto preciso, il peso di un oggetto.
