Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Sir Walter Scott designated this as the home of the heroine in his novel, "The Fair Maid of Perth" (1828). The house was old then (early 1600s), but not as far back as the date of the novel (around 1400). George Bizet adapted the story for an opera.
