Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Perfect Pershing— Pershing artillery missile blasts off on start of successful 190-mile flight after it was bounced on it carrier vehicle over rugged terrain to simulate battlefield conditions. This Pershing was the first fired by an all-Army crew, which had to use an age-old battlefield tool— a sandbag —before it could be launched. Sandbag was placed under one side of carrier vehicle when concrete benchmark on which it rested was out of line.
