Description A meteor trail taken at Stover's Point Preserve in Harpswell, Maine. This location is a curved sandy point and while there is a bit of light along the horizon it is a great place to view stars. The Milky Way was easily visible. We saw a number of streaking meteors but I only managed to capture two. I think the B&W shots show them up the best but all four are here (see "Other versions" below). In this one the Milky Way is also visible. This is facing north. This was a much longer exposure hence the star trails.
