| Description |
English: Perse Girls School nature reserve This land was originally acquired by the school to give access to the River Cam where the girls took swimming lessons. Such customs have long since died out, and the site is now used for wildlife studies. Much of it is wetland (hence the boardwalk) but modern management of the river is tending to cause it to dry out.
This is private land: I was there with an organised conservation group visit. |
