| Description |
English: Permissive path along Hockley Viaduct north of the M3 The surviving length of disused railway viaduct to the north of the M3 carries a permissive path open to the public. The side walls of the viaduct are sufficiently high to prevent good views of the Itchen floodplain meadows, but there are sections where the wall has been lowered (with new wooden fences to make it harder to fall off). The top of St Catherine's Hill, with its clump of beech trees, can be seen in the distance, left of centre. |
