Rückseite: [CΕΒΑCΤΟΝ / ΠΕ-ΡΓΑΜΗΝ-ΟΙ]. Statue des Augustus steht in Vorderansicht im mittleren Frontjoch des Neokorietempels.

Kommentar: Die Rückseite präsentiert den Tempel der Roma und des Augustus, dessen Bau den Hellenen als provinzialen Kaiserkulttempel Octavianus 29 v. Chr. auf eine Anfrage hin gestattet hatte (Cassius Dio 51,20,7). Weder von der Statue noch vom Tempel haben sich Reste erhalten. Doch ist auf anderen Prägungen - das Neokoriemotiv findet sich auch auf Emissionen unter Augustus, Tiberius, Nero, Domitianus und Traianus - zumindest erkennbar, dass die Kultstatue den Princeps als Gepanzerten mit einer Lanze darstellte. - Im RPC werden die Typen Nr. 2370 und 2371 als zusammenhängende Emissionen bestimmt. Da RPC I Nr. 2371 Britannicus und Nero Caesar ehrt, ergibt sich daraus die hier vorgenommene Datierung von Nr. 2370.
