Rückseite: EΠI CT KO-VAPTOV ΠEP. Schlange, den Unterkörper in sechs Windungen gelegt, richtet sich nach r. auf. Die Schlange trägt einen Bart. Im Feld T/O B.

Kommentar: Die Schlange wurde als das Begleittier des Asklepios, manchmal auch als Erscheinungsform des Gottes selbst in Tiergestalt, verehrt. Marcus Aurelius wurde 139 zum Caesar ernannt, was die gegenüber der Regierungszeit des Antoninus Pius veränderte Datierung erklärt. Die Darstellung dieser Schlange passt gut zu der durch Lukian überlieferten Geschichte des Erscheinens eines neuen Schlangengottes namens 'Glykon', der in vielen Orten verehrt wurde. Später wurden dieser und seine Priester jedoch als Schwindler entlarvt.
