Summary

[edit]
Description

Seen at the Isle of Wight Owl and Falconry Centre, during one of their displays. The peregrine falcon is the fastest of all birds; according to the falconer, dive speeds in excess of 200 mph have been recorded.

I caught this one turning, so the speed would have been less than the estimated 100 mph during the display. This is a full frame image.
