He was born on 24 September 1891 in Ytterlännäs in Västernorrland; student in 1911; completed a banking course at Bröderna Påhlmans Handelsinstitut in 1911; entered into Bankaktiebolog, Northern Sweden's service in 1912 at the office in Uusimaa, moved to the head office in Stockholm, entered Aktiebol Stockholms Handelsbank's service 1914. Member of the association since 1912.
