[edit]DescriptionPep Boys ad January 12th, 1927.jpg |
English: Ad for Pep Boys on The Philadelphia Inquirer, January 12th, 1927, featuring the brand new newly-made caricatures of Emanuel "Manny" Rosenfeld (complete with cigar, which was removed from the logo in 1990), Maurice L. "Moe" Strauss and his brother Izzy Strauss, who was still part of the company after co-founder W. Graham "Jack" Jackson had already left the business the previous year in 1926 and his caricature was replaced with Izzy which is still in the logo today but the name "Jack" always stays the same. |
