Penny of Harold harefoot, from Canterbury
Description
English: A fractured but complete Early Medieval silver penny of Harold I (1035-1040), of 'Jewel Cross' type dating from AD 1036-1038. Minted by Brihtred at Canterbury. North (1994) no. 802, BMC i, Hild i. Coin has cracks running through much of its diameter but remains intact and whole.

Measurements: 17.36mm in diameter), 0.75mm thick and 0.88g in weight.
