English: Penicuik's 1915 Council Chambers This crow-stepped building on the corner of the High Street, West Street and The Square remained as local Council offices for the landward area surrounding Penicuik for over 50 years, although most of the functions later moved to Dalkeith. Now in use as the Belgian Consulate for Scotland and by Experience Scotland, with part of the building on West Street occupied by Penicuik Community Arts Association. |
