Description
Čeština: Pekelec u Pusté Kamenice je pietním místem s válečným hrobem a pomníkem v k.ú. Pustá Kamenice v kraji Pardubickém. Pomník v lesním prostoru Pekelec byl postaven v roce 1947 a v roce 2008 opraven. Připomíná pět zastřelených osob v posledních dnech II. světové války, konkrétně Jaroslava Dostála, Václava Hvězdu, Josefa Mareše, Jiřího Pospíšila a Ladislava Sodomku. Všichni muži, z nichž jeden byl teprve patnáctiletý, byli zastřeleni, aniž by měli cokoliv společného s akcí, která předcházela jejich smrti. Zastřeleni byli dne 2.5.1945 příslušníky vojenské jednotky Hitlerjugend nacistické armády z vojenského transportního vlaku, který nedaleko tohoto místa najel na železniční trati v úseku od Čachnova do Pusté Kamenice (dnes trať Českých drah č. 261) na výbušninu nastraženou zde partyzány operujícími v oblasti Českomoravské vrchoviny. Akce partyzánů zmařila jízdu vlaku s německou vojenskou jednotkou směřující na Moravu, kde měla ještě zasáhnout do bojů v okolí Brna. Místo je Ministerstvem obrany České republiky evidováno jako válečný hrob Pustá Kamenice CZE-5310-06678 a pomník zapsán v Ústředním seznamu kulturních památek pod rejstříkovým číslem 4811.
