Description
English: PEIPING-SUIYUAN RAILWAY (平綏鐵路) TIME-TABLE (1929) for excursions to the Great Wall of China (万里长城). The excursion train departed from Chienmen (前門) circling around the "Inner City" (內城) along its east and north sides passing by a series of large city gates before leaving the city at Hsichimen (西直門) on the west side then following the Great Wall to Nankow (南口) and Chuyungkwan (居庸關) before reaching the turnaround point at Chinglungchiao (青龍橋). 5 ¼” x 8 ½” (13.5 x 22 cm) (“Peiping” was an alternate name of Peking (Beijing) in use from 1928 to 1949.)
