English: The place is Gurudongmar Lake, North Sikkim. The fresh aroma of the weeds and the flowers awakens your senses. Sipping a scoop of water with your hands at the birth place of river Teesta, sweetens your taste buds and it seems to last forever. The mountains roar before you as the sun rises high, causing an avalanche of snow.
Free from technology and the hectic city life, one cannot find gold and diamonds here but "Peace and gratitude" will sustain your very existence. |
