| Description |
English: Paull Lagoon's White Lighthouse, Paull, East Riding of Yorkshire, England.The lagoon was created several years ago (it does not yet appear on the Geograph 50,000 OS map) to protect the low-lying ground of South West Holderness behind it from the tidal River Humber. It also doubles up as a wildlife reserve too. The channel seen in the photograph was formerly a road leading up to the now demolished lighthouse keeper's house (although it was nowhere near as wide as this channel!). |
