Українська: Павло-Роберт Магочій на презентації одного із своїх бестселлерів – «Україна: історія її земель та народів» (2010, переклад українською - 2012) – на Львівському Форумі Видавців-2014. Павло-Роберт Магочій (нар.1945) – американсько-канадський історик, дослідник історії України та Підкарпатської Руси, етнічних груп сучасної Канади. Професор (з 1980) історії та політології Торонтського університету (Канада), де водночас очолив кафедру українськиї студій. Дійсний член академії наук Королівського товариства Канади (1996). Має широкий спектр наукових інтересів: він — автор понад 600 публікацій з історії, політології, бібліографії, соціолінгвістики й картографії.
English: Paul Robert Magocsi at the presentation of one of his bestsellers – “A history of Ukraine: The Land and Its Peoples” (2010, translation to Ukrainian published in 2012) - at Lviv Publishers’ Forum-2014. Paul Robert Magocsi (born in 1945) is an American-Canadian historian, the researcher of history of Ukraine and Rusyns, ethnical groups of Canada, professor of history, political science and Chair of Ukrainian Studies at the University of Toronto, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada in 1996, currently acts as Honorary Chairman of the World Congress of Rusyns. He has the wide range of scientific interests, he’s author of more than 600 publications (incl. more than 20 books) with the subject area of history, political science, bibliography, sociolinguistics and cartography.
