Summary

[edit]
Description
English: In 1883, a young Cyrus Dallin won a national competition for a monument honoring Paul Revere in the City of Boston. After persevering for 57 years and creating 7 different models, the 79-year-old sculptor witnessed the unveiling of his masterpiece in Boston's North End in 1940. Visitors to the Dallin Museum may view Dallin's 5th model (left), created in 1899, alongside his 6th model (right), created in 1930.
