Description
English: Land warrant in the name of statesman Patrick Henry directing directs the survey of any Virginia county to lay off one or more surveys totaling 1,000 acres. The state of Virginia owed Henry acreage in return for his payment into the state treasury of 1,600 pounds. Ink on paper. Land-office treasury warrant No. 10082, The Library of Congress, Washington, D. C.
