| Description |
English: Path through woodland in Savernake Forest This path connects the tracks known as Grey Road and Long Harry and is very near the latter in this view. Savernake Forest was here in Saxon times and today covers about 16 miles in circumference. In days gone by it was much bigger. Even though it is today much smaller than the New Forest and the Forest of Dean it is still very easy to get lost in it. |
