| Description |
English: Pat Collins Fair on the Little Roodee 2008. The view from the Grosvenor Bridge embankment looking down on the Little Roodee car park where every year during Chester race week Pat Collins fair appears. Pat Collins was born in Chester in 1859 and eventually moved to the Midlands where he built up his fairground empire. The roof of the coach arrival facility and cafe is in front of the camera, and Castle Drive is behind the trees on the left. The spire of St Mary's without the Walls in Handbridge can be seen in the distance. |
