Description
Português: O conceito de um parque do hospital termal remonta a um espaço arborizado, anexo à "Casa da Convalescença" erguida no reinado de João V de Portugal, integrado na Mata Rainha D. Leonor, onde os doentes podiam passear e convalescer. Até à época do Marquês de Pombal a zona do atual parque era constituída por terras de vinha e de oliveiras.
English: The concept of a spa park of the hospital dates back to a wooded area, attached to the "House of Convalescence" erected in the reign of John V of Portugal, part of the Forest Queen Leonor, where patients could walk and convalesce. Until the time of the Marquis of Pombal area of the current park lands comprised of vineyards and olive trees.
