Description

Situado na antiga Chácara Tangará de propriedade do empresário Baby Pignatari, a casa e os jardins foram construídos para morar com sua futura esposa, a princesa austríaca Ira Von Furstemberg. O arquiteto Roberto Marx foi contratado, para criar os jardins da residência projetada por Oscar Niemeyer. Como o casal se separou, a casa permaneceu inacabada durante muitos anos. Este parque é composto por uma fonte escultura painel de alto e baixo relevo, jardins específicos, o pergolado e o xadrez, espelhos d´água, e uma composição de 15 palmeiras imperiais. A obra é de 1950 e passou por uma restauração pelo próprio Burle Marx, em 1991.

A casa está passando por reformas atualmente (2013).
