English: Portrait of Filippo I, Duke of Parma (1720-1765)
Italiano: Ritratto di Filippo di Borbone. Il duca, a mezza figura girato di trequarti verso sinistra, è raffigurato in giacca rossa con passamanerie dorate su camicia bianca con pizzi, fascia di moire azzurra e insegna del Toson d'Oro al collo; nella mano destra stringe il tricorno. Cornice a listelli dipinta e dorata in mediocri condizioni.
Il dipinto ritrae il duca Filippo di Borbone (1720-1765) e con ogni probabilità è stato eseguito a pendant con quello che ritrae don Ferdinando (inv. 51-111/2), con il quale condivide le dimensioni della tela e la qualità stilistica e pittorica. L'immagine di don Filippo è un'evidente ripresa con varianti del "Ritratto di Filippo di Borbone" conservato presso la Pinacoteca Stuard di Parma e attribuito al pittore di corte Giuseppe Baldrighi (cfr. Barocelli 1988) e di quello conservato presso l'Ordine Costantiniano riferibile al pittore svedese Alexander Roslin.Inv.n.50-111/1 |
