These guys are kickin around a shuttlecock-like toy. As I was watching them a little girl came up to sell me one and at first I refused as I didn't recognise what she was selling. The another little girl approached and when I realised what she was peddling I bought one for $2. The first little girl came back and started a sob story about how she had to eat. I shared my sob story of how I'm unemployed and I don't need two freakin shuttlecocks. :) She didn't seem to understand, repeating the phrase "buy from me??". It is a phrase I would hear at least a thousand more times in my 11 days in Vietnam. |
