Description

This French second empire styled house, constructed on the east side of Goodale Park by 1875, was originally the home of William A. Neil. By 1888 the home had been expanded and made into a double occupancy, with the added address of 672. The home became the Parkview Sanitarium in June of 1902 and was later remodeled and opened as the McKinley Hospital on March 12, 1921. White Cross Hospital, located near-by, used the building as a dormitory residence for nursing staff. It was first called the White Cross Hospital Nurses Home from 1927 to 1931. The name was changed to the Henderson Hall for Nurses Home from 1932 to 1961. The building was demolished in 1967.
