English: Saturday 28 March 2015. A "consultation" leaflet arrived at our house at 10:10 am telling us about a day's programme based at Hale Village. Events which had already begun.
Getting there fast by car was hopeless. The traffic was blocked solid. (And of course this will get steadily worse if developers get their way and build a forest of towers.) One of the events was a group walk from Hale "Village" to Clendish Marsh and back through our local Down Lane Park. So I decided to join this group halfway by walking across the park and using the subway or footbridge to reach Clendish Marsh. (The footbridge was subsequently closed.) _____________________________________ § "During the past two years we’ve carried out a variety of extensive consultation with the community, which has seen thousands of local residents and businesses share their aspirations for Tottenham.
