Park Ranger Michael Callahan discusses the life and service of Dr. Charles Sabin Taft, a surgeon in the Union Army during during the Civil War, in December 2022, part of the annual Wreaths Across American event, honoring service members buried at St. Paul's. Dr. Taft was one of the attending surgeons who attempted to save President Lincoln at the assassination at Ford's Theater, April 14, 1865.
