Description
English: The Church of St. John the Baptist, commonly known as the Rotunda of Xewkija, is a Roman Catholic church in Xewkija, Gozo, Malta. Designed by Maltese architect Ġużè Damato, it was built in the 20th century on the site of a previous church. The Rotunda's dome has an internal diameter of 27 meters (89 feet) and a height of 75 meters (246 feet), making it the third highest unsupported dome in the world.
