Pararge aegeria

My day trip to RSPB Leighton Moss gave me a few ticks for my yearly list with the most notable being:-

Marsh Harrier Little Egret Red Deer Reed Bunting Common Blue Damselfly - (hundreds of them) Dragonfly

Not firsts but lovely to see were the many Bullfinch and Greenfinch on the feeders.

What turned out to be somewhat disturbing is that, on the day, I walked 6 miles around the reserve and saw only one Butterfly.
