Description
English: A radial thin section of Paracupressinoxylon cupressoides. "Fig. 50 is from a radial section through one of the borings of which we have spoken. Bordering the wound there can be seen a dark band of resinous parenchyma, while farther out the highly disturbed tracheids of the wood are visible."

Cretaceous (Turonian), 93.9 ± 0.8 Ma - 89.8 ± 1 mya, Raritan Formation, Matteawan, New Jersey
