Title
Papal bulla
Description
English: A complete and clear cast lead circular papal bulla. The bulla is of Pope Innocent IIII (1243-54). On one face are the heads of St Peter and St Paul facing each other, with each head being surrounded by a vesica-shaped beading. Between the heads is cross with a long foot and above is the inscription SPA SPE. There is some damage through the heads from a sharp implement, maybe a plough.
