Hier geht der atemberaubende Blick über den Lago Maggiore hinweg zu den Orten Ascona auf dem Maggiadelta mit der national bedeutenden Trockenwiese/-weide Ex Aeroporto und dem ebenfalls national bedeutenen Amphibienlaichgebiet und dem Flachmoor Delta della Maggia, weiter rechts Locarno, Tenero bis zur Verzasca Talsperre. Français : Vue depuis le sommet du Monte Covreto (1594 m d'altitude) au-dessus du lac Majeur, à la frontière entre l'Italie et le canton suisse du Tessin. Ici, la vue époustouflante sur le lac Majeur s'étend jusqu'aux localités d'Ascona sur le delta de la Maggia avec la prairie/le pâturage sec d'importance nationale Ex Aeroporto et le site de reproduction des batraciens et le bas-marais Delta della Maggia, également d'importance nationale, plus loin sur la droite Locarno, Tenero jusqu'au barrage de la Verzasca. English: View from the summit of Monte Covreto (1594 m.a.s.l.) above Lake Maggiore on the border between Italy and the Swiss southern canton of Ticino.
