Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The Nahal Zin snakes it's way through this extremely hot, arid valley in southern Israel. This valley was, in the book of Numbers, the east-west route taken by the Israelites during their wandering after the Exodus from Egypt. The valley lies south of any biblical period Israelite territory, south of what was then called the Negev. Even pastoralist herders seem not to have used the region heavily in antiquity.
