| Description |
English: The view over Kota Kinabalu from Kokol Prayer Summit was quite heavenly with all the city lights gleaming below. The horizon cannot be seen at all as the sky was just pitch black. Even the terrain of the Karambunai Peninsula cannot be made out; but only the white lights of the navy base can be spotted. Reflection of those lights can be seen on neighbouring waters. A few residential areas can be spotted in this photo. The bright road on the right is Sepangar Road, and Tang Dynasty Bay Hotel is visible clearly. Going horizontally in this photo, the Tuaran Bypass can be spotted, with the part intersecting the Tuaran Road. The orange light on the distant horizon is Erb West, an oil rig near Mengalum Island, which is 60 km away from mainland!
