Cymraeg: Erthygl / ysgrif a ysgrifenwyd gan Owain Owain (cynt Owen Owen) ac a gyhoeddwyd sawl gwaith gan gynnwys y y daflen hon (dosbarthwyd 3,000 copi).
"Mae tystiolaeth (hy cenedligrwydd; delwedd; meddwl; perspectif) ein pobl wedi'i Phrydeinio - gan gofio mai cyfystyron yw "Prydeinig" a "Seisnig", bellach." Flynyddoedd wedyn, aralleiriwyd y darn gan Gwynfor Evans, pan ddywedodd: "Britishness...is a political synonym for Englishness which extends English culture over the Scots, the Welsh, and the Irish." Mewn gwirionedd, y golygydd a greodd y frawddeg hon, nid Gwynfor! Mae'r araith a draddoddodd yn Porth Talbot i'w gael ar gof a chadw, heb y geiriau hyn!English: 'The Evidence of Britishness'; an article written, and published by my father Owain Owain on 21 Hydref 1965, which was also published in a number of magazines. This publication of 3,000 leaflets was paid for by himself and distributed throughout Wales.
It states: "Our culture and identity have been swamped by Britishness, which is a synonym for Englishness." A similar quote atributed around 15 years later to Gwynfor Evans was in fact written by the editor of the |
